In celebration of the first anniversary of the Obergfell v. Hodges Supreme Court decision to legalize marriage for same-sex couples, we coordinated a beautiful styled wedding photo shoot with some of our best vendor friends at one of our most favorite Austin hill country venues, Prospect House. We were lucky enough to be connected with two real-life couples who’s true love absolutely shined through Diana M. Lott Photography‘s camera lens. We’re so excited to share the results of this oh-so-fun collaboration with you!
Meet Kayla and Ashley. These two are so precious; it was beautiful to witness their tender romance all day during our shoot. This happy bride and “broom” were thrilled to be able to legally confirm their marriage on the first anniversary of their wedding celebration!
For the ladies, we curated a seasonal spring/summer, romance-inspired look and feel.
To fit with that theme, we featured a DIY mimosa bar and pink ombre cake.

Ricardo and Justin are our other real-life lovebirds! The combination of playfulness and sweetness that they share is absolutely heart-warming.
For the fellas, our goal was to establish more of a fall/winter, modern vibe.
As part of the guys’ setup, we featured a local beer bar and gray marble cake.
